Architecture provides time and place, Donna incorporates drawn line, handwriting and machine stitch into her art work.

The threads are left long depicting the undrawn line; movement of people and vehicles within the narrative of her drawing. The translucency of the paper depicts memory and quiet reflection.

Moments of Colour are significant to the story. Within her paintings, threads are laid like foundations, hand writing is used to narrate personal stories and meaningful links are made to memory and  to place.

Donna has exhibited installations and artists books widely in the uk and is now developing a contemporary art career whilst teaching  at Nottingham Trent University.

Donna works to commission works include: private houses, favourite places, portraits and cars.
